Look What We Found |
|
Look What We Found supply Gravelles Budgens with ready made sauces and meals that
have been made with hearty locally sourced produce from small-scale farmers. Imagine
"delightfully moist, melt in the mouth effect of gently cooking dishes like belly
pork, mutton and rabbit in a stock based sauce, enhanced with natural ingredients
like ale, honey, fruits and root vegetables" and you'll get the picture. |
|
Not only that but Look What We Found take responsibility over knowing exactly where
and how the food is grown and produced all the way along the chain from field to
table. This responsibility extends to the acting fairly and friendly towards and
championing small-scale farmers and their produce. |
|
|
|
The majority of Look What We Founds range is gluten free and due to the clever preparation
methods and slow steam cooking have surprisingly long shelf lives and do not require
refridgeration. |

| COOK |
| To COOK using the same ingredients and techniques you would at home so everything looks and tastes homemade. Today, nothing’s changed (except we’re a bit better at it).
We believe eating and cooking are two of life’s great pleasures. If cooking becomes a chore or eating ceases to be pleasurable, then our lives are poorer. We cook, so you don’t have to - enabling you to keep your powder dry for the occasions when you’re in the mood to cook up a storm. And because we cook in exactly the same way you would at home you can be confident our dishes will look and taste homemade, and should always be a pleasure to eat. Importantly, on the front of every pack we print the name of the chef who prepared your meal. |

| Grass Routes |
| Being as environmentally friendly as possible is a cornerstone of the Grass Routes ethos. To this end, I use the traditional cold saponification method, which requires a minimal use of fossil fuels and waste.
All the ingredients in my soaps are organic, with the exception of coconut oil. I am still attempting to find a supplier whose prices would allow the soap to remain cost-effective. All packaging is made from 100 per cent recycled and biodegradable materials, so it can go straight into the compost bin when removed. |
